Friends of Richmond Community High School Branding and Web Design

BRAND ANALYSIS

BRIEF

I was hired by Richmond Community High School to redesign their non-profits logo and website. The former logo was roughly 40 years old and needed to be updated to better match their modern-day mission.

Brand Analysis

My first step was to look at the current branding for the school and non-profit, and best understand the mission and core of the non-profit. After I better understood the brand’s mission, I needed to use visual analysis to figure out what was and wasnʼt working. Then I developed a branding strategy to guide my design, focusing on creating a cohesive and recognizable set of logos that could both stand alone and work together. I wanted to keep the original feeling of the logo while also updating it to fit better with the time and goals of the school.

The same brand colors were carried through, fonts and icons were chosen, and after the logo was redesigned, I completed the website. The live version is linked below.
