Brookland Park Community Garden Signage

For this project, I was commissioned by the Richmond Community High School and Brookland Park Collective Partnership to create signage for their garden-to-table community garden. The garden serves the surrounding community by providing fresh produce and garden plots for neighbors of the school, so I needed to create a design that would be both informative and eye-catching for community members. The design needed to be cohesive between two signs, one large banner to hang on the fence and a smaller sign to hang at the entrance. Shown below are the final designs for the banner and small sign, as well as photographs of both as they hang at the garden. I’ve also provided a before shot of the smaller sign, showing how it was changed through my design work.
