COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Growing up, I was fortunate to inherit my mother's artistic, creative abilities, as well as her passion for improving the world around her, and have dedicated myself to developing my skills in both art and activism throughout my life. During high school, I volunteered on political campaigns, community organizations, and worked as a U.S. Senate Page for Mark Warner in D.C., inspiring me to pursue impactful work.  I eventually discovered how I could use design to make a difference in the lives of marginalized people and communities. Since then, I have developed a diverse portfolio of work and collaborated with community organizations to empower people through design, and have taken special focus in seeking my MFA Thesis to look into collective and community approaches for opinion change on the climate crisis.
